Snakes? Why did it have to be snakes? The southern black racer (Coluber constrictor priapus) is one of the more common subspecies of the non-venomous Coluber constrictor snake species in the southeast. Ubiquitous in #fl I caught this guy slithering through the blades of Augustine grass in my backyard in #boyntonbeach #florida looking for a gecko. Don’t worry, I warned chased the geckos to safety.
