Gecko Venting Boynton Beach, FL

One of the things I like about #beautifulfla are the #geckos they are everywhere in #southflorida and they come in many varieties as well. They are cold blooded and when they get too hot many will vent heat from a flap below their mouth. Here I finally captured a gecko venting. They tend to be skittish and will run away if you get too close. Got lucky here because as I was sitting the gecko came close and wasn't scared away by my camera.
