This celebrated moment in #ushistory #history prompted scultor Seward Johnson to commission this absolutely enormous sculpture called Unconditional Surrender. A proud #worldwar2 veteran purchased the sculpture and donated it to the City of Sarasota where it remains today on another #beautifulfla day in #sarasotafl #sarasota #florida where many couples emulate the pose!
