The Golden Silk Spider, Nephila clavipes, hoping to catch a meal...

The Golden Silk Spider, Nephila clavipes, hoping to catch a meal in #beautifulfla , is relatively common in #florida and throughout the Southeast, it is a relatively large spider but still harmless to people. It is an orb weaving spider with orange and brown coloration and hairy tufts on its legs. Hikers dislike inadvertently walking into their spider webs. #fl #boyntonbeach
